Junior Debtors Clerk and Sales Support (G908)

Introduction

• Matric and 12 years experience as a debtors clerk or an administrative role.

Description : A small supplier of laboratory consumables is seeking a debtors clerk to manage their debtors and provide administrative support to the Internal Sales Representative. The duties will include but are not limited to maintaining the debtors accounts for two small / medium sized companies by following up on payments resolving queries and issues as quickly as possible and pulling and sending PODs and invoices where required; checking and following up on unpaid cash sales; processing the debtors bank; chasing for missing export documents from customers; and managing e-mails. Further duties will include supporting the Internal Sales Representative by answering the telephone and assisting customers with telephonic quotes and queries responding to some quote requests that come through on e-mail and other ad hoc / admin tasks.

Key Requirements : A matric certificate is required while further qualifications would be preferable but not essential. 12 Years experience in a debtors clerk or administrative role is also required.
