Overview
The HR, Payroll & Performance Manager, will be responsible for efficiently managing employee administration, addressing HR-related queries, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. The role will also involve payroll administration and performance management, contributing to the overall HR function by aligning key performance areas (KPAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Process and administer payroll accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions, and employee benefits.
- Address payroll-related queries and discrepancies.
- Work closely with the Partner to reconcile payroll transactions.
- Assist in the implementation and tracking of performance management systems.
- Support the development of KPAs and KPIs for employees.
- Facilitate performance review processes and ensure timely feedback.
- Manage employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Handle employee queries related to HR policies and benefits.
- Maintain and update HR systems and databases.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary procedures.
- Support managers in addressing employee concerns and engagement initiatives.
- Ensure onboarding and offboarding processes are maintained.
- Ensure new employees are properly inducted and understand company policies.
Qualifications
Qualifications : Diploma or Degree in Human Resources.
Experience : Minimum of 3 years in an HR generalist role, with payroll and performance management experience.
Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.Must be competent in payroll systems and have handled previous payrolls.Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of the SAICA TCMS / EAT system is advantageous.Documents required : CV, ID, Matric Certificate, copies of Degrees or Certificates
