Service Manager / Workshop Manager, Cape Town

A Service Manager / Workshop Manager is required for a soon-to-be opened Cape Town mechanical enterprise. The difference is that you will be a part-owner by means of profit-share. So you have to be inclined to own your own mechanical business as opposed to working for a company where you are just an employee. The buck largely stops with you. Your nurturing of staff, servicing of repeat-business customers, and your ability to grow a customer base will fuel your success.

This unique opportunity requires the right person to be :

• Mechanically qualified (petrol, diesel qualification etc.) OR currently be a Mechanical or Service Department Foreman or Manager
• Fit, and capable of being a hands-on mechanical expert
• Able to drive an auto mechanical department
• Driven and ambitious enough to own and run their own business, albeit not having the financial ability to go-it alone.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and must have a trusted reputation
• Business minded enough to value profit sharing as part-ownership rather than bottom-line take home pay.

Remuneration package would consist of a basic salary, profit share, access to HR staff and support, workshop rental, and other benefits .
