ð Key Responsibilities
ð¹ Financial Administration
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and statements
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
ð¹ Reconciliations & Reporting
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliationsReconcile supplier and customer accountsAssist in preparing monthly management reports and financial statementsSupport Tax / VAT submissions and statutory returnsð¹ Compliance & Support
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policiesAssist with audit preparation and documentationLiaise with internal departments and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, banks)Support budgeting and forecasting processesð¯ Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulationsProficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Pastel, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS ExcelHigh attention to detail and accuracyAnalytical thinking and problem-solving abilityStrong organizational and time management skillsProfessional communication and interpersonal skillsIntegrity and discretion in handling confidential financial datað Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, preferred.24 years of experience in a finance or accounting roleExperience with multi-brand or multi-entity environments is advantageousKnowledge of South African tax and payroll regulations preferred
