Job descriptionStrong technical knowledge of automation systems, sensors, control components, and related technologies. Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging training sessions. Experience working with system integrators, OEMs, distributors, and end-users. Skilled in identifying business opportunities, growing key accounts, and meeting sales targets. Confident presenter with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Are you a technically skilled Sales Engineer with a passion for automation and control solutions? Were seeking a professional who not only excels at driving sales but also has the ability to deliver product training, presentations, and hands-on demonstrations. This role blends business development with technical expertise, making it perfect for someone who enjoys both selling and teaching.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (BEng / BTech / National Diploma).
- Minimum 24 years experience in industrial automation sales or application engineering .
- Proven track record in selling automation and control components.
- Experience in delivering product training, workshops, or client presentations .
- Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel within South Africa.
