Job descriptionSA Citizen Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology / Human Resource Management (Essential) Driver’s license (Essential) Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) The candidate must be medically fit in terms the Mine Health and Safety Act Clear criminal record essential Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) Analysing and interpretation of information Good time management and organizational skills Willingness to take initiative and to understand the business and add value where needed Demonstrate ethical behaviour and professionalism Strong organisational and administration skills The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Ability to work with confidential information Analytical and action orientated Afrimat is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic People Management (PM) & Learning and Development (L&D) Intern to join our dynamic team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in human resources, employee engagement, and learning initiatives within a leading organisation. Providing project management support Assisting with day-to-day PM operations. Supporting end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes. Coordinating training sessions, workshops, and learning programmes. Assisting with Annual Training Reports (ATR) and Workplace Skills Plans (WSP). Compiling and analysing PM data and reports. Supporting employee engagement and culture-building initiatives. Contributing to research and innovation of PM processes and procedures. Providing general support to the Learning & Development function Gain practical PM operations experience, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and PM administration. Exposure to Learning & Development practices, from planning and coordination to delivery and reporting. Opportunity to learn about and contribute to : Workforce planning and reporting, Training and skills development initiatives, Employee engagement and culture projects Build a strong foundation to grow into a future PM or L&D specialist. Mentorship and guidance from experienced PM and L&D professionals. Overall, our graduate programme is a robust foundation for a successful PM and L&D Practitioner. Human Resources jobs
