Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor vessel movements across the offshore field using radar, AIS, ECDIS, CCTV, and other electronic systems.
- Maintain 24 / 7 radio communications between offshore installations, support vessels, and helicopter traffic.
- Issue alerts and broadcast marine information via VHF, including tanker arrivals, weather updates, and operational notices.
- Implement vessel routing protocols and maintain a database of entry permits.
- Coordinate daily helicopter and crew boat transfers for personnel.
- Support emergency communications and maintain detailed logs during incidents.
- Track weather and sea conditions, advising aviation and marine teams of any operational impacts.
- Act as backup Boatlanding Officer when required.
