Job Purpose
Manages the key performance areas associated with the installation and maintenance of Biometric Readers throughout the eThekwini Municipality and ensuring accurate data integration via the Timekeeper solution to the Payroll software solution.
This post reports to SENIOR MANAGER (HC INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Key Responsibility Areas
- Identifies with the Access Control, Time and Attendance and Biometrics strategy, develops operational plans which defines, implements, and monitors objectives.
- Liaising with both the Service providers and the Directors to ensure that the business requirements are met.
- Ensuring that Directors budget for maintenance and support of new and current devices is efficiently utilised.
- Ensuring that accurate and seamless data is collected from the Biometric devices and seamlessly integrated into the Payroll System.
- Identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to continuously seek ways to maximize the Municipalities investment in its Access Control, Time and Attendance and Biometrics strategy through quality assurance.
- Identifying potential threats to business continuity and develop measures to reduce the impact thereof.
- Coordinates and controls tasks / activities associated with controlling personnel performance, productivity and discipline.

Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Administration or Public Administration or any other related and equivalent qualification.Valid motor vehicle driving license.6 years experience in Administration.Computer Literacy.Preferred Requirements
Degree (NQF Level 7) in Administration or Public Administration or any other and equivalent qualification.7 years experience in Administration.
