National Key Account Manager
Gen-eye (Pty) Ltd is seeking a strategic and relationship-focused National Key Account Manager to drive growth across wholesale and pharmacy channels. This role blends field engagement, data-driven decision-making, and commercial leadership to optimise channel performance and expand market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national Key Account strategies.
- Build and manage relationships with Wholesalers, DSPs, and Key Accounts.
- Negotiate SLAs, contracts, and logistics agreements.
- Lead retail switch strategies and adherence programs.
- Conduct forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Spend 80% of time in-field driving partnerships and execution.
Experience and Knowledge
Tertiary qualification3+ years of success in pharmaceutical key account management.Proven ability to manage complexity across commercial, financial, and customer domains.Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management.Deep understanding of South Africa’s retail pharmaceutical landscape.Data-driven decision-maker with advanced Excel skills.High emotional intelligence and cross-functional collaboration.Strategic thinker with strong execution and problem-solving ability.Adaptable, customer-focused, and results-oriented.Behaviours
