The Role
The company is seeking an Account Manager , based in Johannesburg, to lead its Custom Solutions portfolio. This person will be responsible for managing key brand and agency relationships, driving the creation of breakthrough digital experiences, and shaping how technology and creativity merge to solve real business challenges.
This role is suited to someone who thrives on experimentation, pitches with conviction, and knows how to unite creative and technical teams to deliver award-winning work. It is not for those who seek “steady”; it is for those who find energy in building the extraordinary.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and manage relationships with agencies and brand clients across the South African market.
- Translate client objectives into bespoke concepts that push creative and technical boundaries.
- Partner with internal creative, production, and development teams to deliver projects that achieve both emotional and commercial results.
- Identify opportunities for innovation using microsites, gamification, AR / VAR, gesture tracking, and other experimental formats.
- Manage campaign scoping, proposals, approvals, and delivery timelines.
- Report on project performance, insights, and opportunities for continuous innovation.
- Stay informed on global interactive trends and identify opportunities to bring first-to-market ideas to life.
- Contribute to internal ideation sessions, workshops, and brainstorms that feed the studio’s creative pipeline.
Experience and Requirements
Minimum of three years’ experience in digital account management or creative technology.Strong understanding of digital marketing, interactive media, and brand communication .Proven experience collaborating with agencies or brands on digital or experiential campaigns.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling client proposals.Excellent presentation, negotiation, and storytelling abilities.Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for solving problems that don’t have templates.Strong CRM discipline and project management skills.Agility mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly when circumstances change.What’s on Offer
