About the Role
Our client, a leading logistics company, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Scheduler to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and optimising transport schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources, and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and adjust transport and delivery schedules to meet customer and operational requirements.
- Monitor driver routes, loads, and delivery times to ensure on-time performance.
- Liaise with drivers, dispatchers, and clients to resolve scheduling conflicts or delays.
- Optimise scheduling to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and manage costs.
- Track progress of shipments and deliveries, escalating issues as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, adjustments, and performance metrics.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on scheduling performance.

Proven experience in scheduling, planning, or coordinating (preferably within logistics, transport, or supply chain).Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office (Excel essential).Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think on your feet.Knowledge of logistics, transport regulations, and fleet operations (advantageous).Key Competencies
