To manage the daily activities and drive the performance of a team of Collection agents, meeting business objectives by improving and maximizing the collection of outstanding revenue for private label card accounts through effective planning, directing, and supervision.
Manage daily operations
- Provide visible and clear leadership to promote a culture of high-performance standards and customer centricity.
- Lead team members to achieve operational efficiency and build a cohesive, motivated team.
- Develop and implement programs and procedures to enhance collector productivity.
- Manage performance measurement standards to improve operational effectiveness.
- Resolve customer complaints and queries promptly.
- Maintain acceptable delinquency levels and minimize write-offs by managing queues effectively.
- Ensure adherence to correct collection procedures and guide employees on improvements.
- Continuously seek to improve operational processes and provide quality customer service.
- Review delinquent accounts regularly.
- Manage staffing forecasts and Workforce Management (WFM) scheduling requirements.
- Handle ad-hoc requests as needed.
Coaching and mentoring of team
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to address concerns and implement corrective actions.Identify training needs and ensure effective coaching and training.Upskill the team in resolving escalated customer queries.Foster team development through motivation, counseling, soft skills training, and product knowledge education.Perform weekly QA audits for all agents.Team Administration
Ensure smooth onboarding of new starters.Conduct probation review meetings within the first 3 months.Address behavioral concerns following the Company’s Disciplinary Policy.Manage absenteeism in line with the Company’s Absence Management Policy.Keep trackers (IR, Absence & PIP) updated daily.Process leave transactions via ESS.Manage waybill, overtime, and special time payments.Handle employee terminations according to company procedures.Team performance, monitoring, and reporting
Set clear, achievable targets assessed monthly through KPAs.Track and report individual and team KPIs.Utilize reports effectively for performance management.Conduct monthly performance reviews.Address underperformance according to the Performance Improvement Policy.Resources & Capacity (people & systems)
