Overview

We are seeking a Finance Manager / Controller to play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, budgeting and forecasting, and driving financial process improvements. You will also provide analysis and business insights to support senior management in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial reports and management accounts for subsidiaries.
• Assist with annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance, investigate variances, and provide commentary.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate accounting records.
• Support year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, income tax).
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure strong internal financial controls are in place and adhered to.
• Provide financial insights to support operational teams.
• Supervise and develop junior finance staff.

Minimum Requirements

Salary

R70,000 per month / R840,000 per annum (Negotiable + Benefits, based on experience)
