Team Leader : Imports (Western Cape)

Job descriptionTo manage the productivity and quality of bank, suspense and clearing reconciliations. Analysing standard cost variances and other reporting functions. In addition, provides foreign exchange treasury support. Operational Result Management Foreign exchange (forex) treasury support Royalty Reporting Fosters relationships with all stakeholders Team Management Leadership Recommended and facilitated implementation of system and process enhancements Ad Hoc tasks Requirements Tertiary Qualification (i.e. Certificate, Diploma or Degree) in accounting 2-3 years experience within a finance department Knowledge of reconciliation processes Knowledge of financial systems and processes with a view to improve processes and procedures Computer literacy – eg. Google Workspace (Intermediate G-Sheets) Supervisory experience will be an advantage Previous experience dealing with imports would be an advantage Retail experience will be an advantage SAP experience will be an advantage Aptitude to work with figures Competencies required : Devotion to quality, Leadership, Structuring, Listening skills, Providing feedback, Team-building, Stress resistance, Analysing and forming opinions Accounting / Financial Services jobs
