Job Title : PMO Manager
Location : Gauteng, Johannesburg Metro, Sandton
Job Type : 12 month contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Responsibilities
- Organisational Project Management Governance – OPM Governance is defined as the framework, functions, and processes that guide organisational project management activities in order to align portfolios, program, and project management practices to meet organisational strategic and operational goals.
- Portfolio Management – Portfolio management involves the centralized management of a portfolio of projects. It includes identifying, prioritizing, authorizing, managing, and controlling projects, programs, and other related work to achieve specific strategic business objectives.
- Project / Program Management – Project Management is the service that is rendered by the PMO to the organization to manage projects. Includes Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Control, Closure, and Programme Integration.
- Software Systems – The PMO is the owner of all the project management support systems in the organization, including scheduling, enterprise project management, project selection and analysis, and reporting systems, with functional support.
- Project Support – Project Support involves any project related support that the PMO provides to projects or project managers, including documentation, administration, configuration management, progress reporting, resource pool management, knowledge management, and conformance reviews.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant fieldProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationProven experience in project management and leading project teamsStrong understanding of project management methodologies and toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience
