Houskeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor with a background in large-scale 4 or 5-star hotels to join our Rooms Division team. You will play a key role in ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet luxury cleanliness and presentation standards . Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will supervise a team of attendants, assist in daily operations, and ensure exceptional guest experiences through attention to detail and operational excellence .

Experience & Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience in housekeeping roles within large-scale 4 or 5-star hotels , with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity

Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, laundry procedures, and quality standards

Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team of housekeeping attendants

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining luxury standards

Professional, guest-centric approach to service

Must hold a valid South African ID

Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of housekeeping attendants to maintain high performance

Conduct inspections to ensure rooms and public areas meet luxury standards

Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, and operational challenges to the Executive Housekeeper

Support training and onboarding of new team members

Monitor cleaning schedules and allocate tasks to meet operational efficiency

Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment and supplies

Uphold hygiene, health, and safety standards across all areas

Handle guest requests and feedback professionally, ensuring prompt resolution

Assist in inventory control, linen management, and stock replenishment
