HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

A prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in the Cape Town is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join their hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping within luxury environments and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities but not limited to :

Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet 5-star standards.

Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff, maintaining high levels of productivity and morale.

Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, back-of-house, and public spaces.

Assist in managing laundry operations and linen inventory.

Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and amenities.

Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless guest service.

Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.

Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.

Maintain detailed records and reports related to room status, maintenance needs, and team performance.

Requirements :

3+ years experience in a housekeeping role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position.

Previous experience in a 5-star hotel, lodge, or luxury estate environment.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

High attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

Able to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in housekeeping systems and general administrative duties.

Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
