Thompsons Travel (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for a Key Account / New Business Manager in our Sales Department in Johannesburg. The successful candidate must possess the following skills : effective communication, strategic planning, negotiations, problem-solving, and time management. The primary focus of this key position is to manage and maintain sales relationships with customers. The candidate should be able to find and develop new customers while maintaining excellent relationships with existing corporate clients, providing outstanding service and support to both the corporate client and the corporate consultant.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify new high net worth customers by looking for opportunities
- Find and develop new customers
- Cold Calling
- Compile tender documents for existing and potential customer needs
- Develop and process tender documents for new business acquisition
- Achieve set targets
- Organize workshops, site inspections, and product knowledge sessions
- Assist in marketing awareness campaigns
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on targets and new business acquisition
- Participate in online training and implementation
