Responsibilities
- Assist the Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations and staff supervision.
- Prepare and cook menu items in line with established recipes quality and presentation standards.
- Oversee food preparation to ensure all quality hygiene and safety standards are met.
- Support in training and mentoring kitchen staff encouraging best practices.
- Assist with stock control inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness organisation and efficiency within the kitchen and storage areas.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and execute daily specials.
- Ensure compliance with all health safety and food hygiene regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
Culinary degree or relevant experience in a professional kitchen.Previous experience as a line cook or similar role is preferred.Strong knowledge of culinary techniques food safety and kitchen best practices.Excellent communication teamwork and organisational skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Physical Requirements
