Assist the Reservations Manager with strategy implementation and planningOversee smooth and professional check-in / check-out proceduresMonitor guest profiles, preferences, and memberships on OperaResolve guest complaints promptly and effectively, escalating where necessaryMaintain cash handling, banking, and account control proceduresSupport team culture, training, and communication to ensure service excellence and upsellingOversee Front Office operations during shift, including guest arrivals, VIPs, functions, and conferencesEnsure compliance with hygiene, appearance, and safety standardsMaintain equipment, supplies, and stationery stock levelsComplete daily reporting and accurate shift handoversCriteria
Previous experience in Front Office operations within a lodge or hotel environmentStrong guest relations skills with a warm, professional mannerExcellent computer skillsSound knowledge of Opera or similar property management systemsAttention to detail with strong administrative and financial controlsAbility to manage and motivate a team, fostering a culture of excellence and upsellingFlexible, reliable, and able to handle pressure in a dynamic environmentWell-groomed and well-spokenFully proficient in English (read, write, speak)Solid Afrikaans (understand, speak, write)Good knowledge of the geography and places of interest in the surrounding areaAdministrative / Management jobs
