HR Assistant

Job Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our HR department and assist with various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. Key Responsibilities : - Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews - Coordinate new employee onboarding, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientation, and setting up employee files - Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations - Respond to employee inquiries and provide support on HR policies and procedures - Assist with employee relations, including conducting investigations and documenting employee complaints - Maintain and update HR databases and systems - Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed - Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field - 1-2 years of experience in an HR support role - Knowledge of HR policies and procedures - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information - Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team Contract Details : This is a full-time position, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
