This is a high-energy sales leadership role for someone with strong call centre experience and a proven track record in short-term insurance. You’ll be responsible for managing a telesales team, optimising lead conversion, and building team capability in a performance-driven environment.
What You’ll Do
Lead and manage a team of call centre sales agents
Oversee lead generation and optimisation for sales performance
Monitor call quality, script adherence, and compliance
Train and mentor staff to improve objection handling and conversion
Track team talk time, login / logout patterns, and overall discipline
Run incentives and build a collaborative, results-driven team culture
Identify areas of improvement through reports and quality monitoring
Collaborate with support teams to ensure seamless sales execution
What You Bring
Grade 12 / NQF 4 (Tertiary qualification or RE5 a plus)
3+ years in outbound telesales with proven success
6+ months’ supervisory experience in a call centre environment
Knowledge of short-term insurance products and compliance standards
Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
Highly organised, resilient, and driven by targets and team success
