Reservations Manager – Luxury Hotel (Cape Town)

Salary : R44,000 (Negotiable DOE)

Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Reservations Manager for a prestigious luxury hotel based in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join a world-class hospitality team in one of South Africa’s most iconic destinations.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the reservations department

Ensure prompt and professional handling of all booking enquiries

Maintain and maximise room occupancy and revenue through effective inventory and yield management

Liaise with guests, travel agents, tour operators, and other departments to ensure a seamless reservation experience

Generate and analyse reservation reports and forecasts

Ensure all bookings are correctly entered and updated in the reservations system

Train, manage and support the reservations team to deliver exceptional service

Monitor and improve departmental processes to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction

Work closely with the sales and front office teams to align on guest bookings and special requests

Requirements :

Proven experience in a reservations management role within a luxury hospitality environment

Strong understanding of reservation systems and hotel operations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership, team management and training abilities

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservations software (experience with Opera or similar systems advantageous)

Professional demeanour with a guest-first approach
